If you're going to make it as a professional trader, you have to have an identifiable edge. What are your edges? My edge is that i look at the macro world. And so what i'm trying to do is understand the current equilibrium and enter trades into currencies before they move. That doesn't necessarily mean like, an event comes out and then uro goes up, and i buy it after the event and selled after the event. It can also mean something a lot more subtle, which is that, as a narrative starts to get really, really fully subscribed, you start to positioning by metric.
