jeff bazos is worth around 200 billion just on his amazon ownership stake alone. People ridicule his dreams of space travel and criticise his philanthropic giving. During the first year of lockdown, baso's personal wealth jumped from 115 billion to 190 billion. His prosperity felt perverse given how many people were struggling. This raised more questions. Should millionaires exist at all? Is the world better off with or without amazon in it? Amazon was never one of those tech companies with idealistic promises to save the world. But suddenly the company found itself getting blamed for the world's problems.
