The Omnipotence of Thought

Freud's idea of the omnipotence of thought is something he found in children. He also finds it in certain types of religious systems, such as Christianity. As adults we understand that thought and action are separate. But hopefully we do have a sense that I can have a, I can in a moment of rage or whatever, I can be like, "I wish that person was dead," right? And if they drop dead next day, I'm not gonna say that was my fault.
