Explorations in Mathematics for First Year Mathematics Students

i want to show the students is let's just take our minds into a situation and then play and see what we can see and find out. in my work at Birkbeck College which is where i'm currently based i created a course called explorations in mathematics for the first year undergraduate mathematics students. We begin by having absolutely no idea what's going on and that is the state of mind of most mathematicians most of the time so it's good to get comfortable with that to have no idea and then to play and sees what you can find out.
