The Relationship Between Life History and Preference for a Multipartner, Mating

Life history theory is that people throughout their lifespan will make trade-offs between what's known as a reproductive effort and somatic effort. People in consentually non-monogamous relationships are more likely to report lower discussed sensitivity, according to the study. They tend to score relatively higher on risk taking, specifically health and ethical risk taking. And they were one of the other things that you tend to see with life history, or at least a finding that's well replicated in Western societies.
