In the quantum mechanical version, you can really only ask one question. You can say, is it pointing towards two o'clock? Once you've done that, you sort of messed it up. It's no longer constrained to be the opposite of what the other ball is. The whole idea is that these things need to be entangled. But once you interact with something, you break the entanglement.
