René Goddard: The Father of the Property Empire

René Goddard founded the initial real estate companies in Luxembourg that would go on to be the parent companies of the Irish firms. He is named as the director of multiple Luxembourg firms who own and lend money to Mark Goddard's Luxembourg firms. Once their son Mark came of age, he quickly began to be named to roles in these companies while he was still a student. So it became clear when I turned up at the Goddard family home - which is this comfortable cottage in suburban Hesperange near Drogheda where they have invested millions over the years. But we never heard anything back from Mark Garart... We've called him without success. And we also have tried to find him in Dublin
