When molonism hits the scene in the 16 hundreds, you're starting to see different people want to reject the traditional doctrine of god. And so anything that kind of deviates from classical theism just a a little bit would make a lot of people uneasy. So if your view looks slightly different from the tradition, then i'm going to go, will those really horrible, awful people over there? You're just like them because you believe this one tiny thing that they do. There's some of that stuff going on, i think, with mole as well.
