Are There Mixed Tribes That Come Back From Babylon?
There can't be anything called a Jew in any language prior to the kind of conceptual separation of Judah from Israel in some way. So you can talk about Benjaminites as Jews as well, which is confusing. In Ezra and Nehemiah, what you find is a return of select few from more or less three tribes from the three southern tribes who then are Jews. And it's only a small group of people from Levi, Judah and Benjamin.
