The Impact of Machine Learning on Employment
I would warn them about accuracy and things slipping through because our human tendency is to take things that are grammatical and well-formed and assume they're okay. So these systems are not as reliable as they might seem in the first few minutes that we play with them. Fundamentally, the outputs just are not 100% reliable. And so you have to decide, is that okay for my task? Do you think this technology ends up replacing people, replacing workers because it can do it better, faster, cheaper, more efficiently? I suspect it'll be some of both. We don't really know for sure yet.
