Stillness and Prayer Are Profoundly Missional

In the end, stillness and prayer is pro foundly missional. In many ways, jesus was a contemplative but he also allowed himself to be interrupted by bartimaeus on the way to jerusalem. Stillness before god is what transforms us into unhurried love. It is in the stillness of silent prayer that god will turn over the soil of your heart. And prayer is not a self care retreat. It begins in isolation, but it ends in being with everybody.
