Is There an Association Between Stop and Search and Crime?
It was a lot of cherry picking. Well, like just taking out the words that fit the narrative they want and not finishing the sentence of people that they they interviewed, or the reports tat they're quoting from. They cite a study in a british journal of criminology suggesting that drug crime pattens change when stop and search is taking place in an area. If you look up the original study, it says, the effect of stop and search are likely to be marginal at best.
