In Elixir 1.3, there was a big pain point that I had. The calendar didn't exist until 1.3. And what was happening is that we have like two diverging libraries. That was generating a lot of conflict. We want the calendars to be configurable and handle time zones. So they it's only date, right? There is no time to it. And then there is time, which is all the time. And there is naive day time. Because if you have a day time, without a time zone attached to it, they it may not exist. But that was the thinking. If you are in UTC, then it always exists because there is no jump
