The Low Interest Rate Environment in the United States

In the banking system, it's been pretty good here for the last decade or so. And now we have Americans with the highest credit card debt in history and the largest two year run up in credit card balances in US history. What bothers me is that nobody was looking around the corner at all on any of this stuff, which was so predictable. I mean, what ended up happening to that bank of where they're sitting on a ton of low performing assets.
