Are You Surprised That Publicly Traded Teams Are Not Great Investments?
Publicly traded teams like manchester united, or even in a madison square garden, have not proven to be great investments themselves. A club that makes a huge profit is not investing in players. That's what you're supposed to do - put out a winning team. And that means spending, spending money. So where where a clubs make money is in the increase in the value of the franchise and that's it.
