The Supreme Court's Decision in the Matter of Gordon Hiribayashi
Gordon hiribayashi refused to board an internment bus in washington. His case was one of the ACL used test cases that made its way to the supreme court. Chief justice harlan stone presided over the hearings inside the court's new opulent home constructed in the 1930s. In his opinion chief justice stone wrote that the basis of race could be used to intern citizens during a time of war.
