The Pinkerton name has become synonymous with lawless private armies that are, you know, not supposed to exist in a democracy. In the 1930s, when the Wagner Act like make strikes legal, right? But after this, Robert Pinkerton II, who's the new sort of owner of the Pinkerton, just tries to do a rebrand. And they start selling surveillance equipment and trainings for government organizations.
