Warren Merrell's phone rang around midday on Saturday, December 16. On the other line was his daughter Denise Williams. Her husband Mike was due to return home for their anniversary getaway but there was no sign of him. It wasn't like Mike to be late, especially without getting in contact. He was an incredibly devoted husband who went above and beyond for Denise. But first he wanted to get in a couple of hours of duck hunting at Lake Seminole - roughly 60 miles north-west of his home.
