The Importance of Knowing

There is the water we swim in has base assumptions about what it means to be a good human or a good citizen. We all are incentivized culturally to know everything, and I just don't know how valuable that is like. It's gotten worse with social media and politics where it's like, you're shamed for not knowing all the goings on of this thing that happened. But there's a sense of we do need to know. Knowing is what we do. And if we don't know, we are not anchored in our humanity.
