How to Build a World in the Real World

In terms of resources, every world has to have certain resources in order to exist. All wars are fought over re ces and all conflict comes from conflict over resources. Make sure that the people in your world have the basic building blocks to survive. I think like game of thrones does a really good job of that. In the book series particularly, there's just a lot of really boring talk about resources and things. But a, it makes that world very believable.
