The History of Philosophy in Sufism

Ibn Adabi and his follower Koonawi are the most important figures in history of philosophical Sufism. Enochozad was a student of Ahma'a Razaali, Hozali's famous younger brother who himself was a major figure in the Persian world. He brings together over a century before Ibn Adabi two really important strands in Islamic thought kind of like a careful synthesis between philosophy, theology, mysticism. It seems that even if an Arabi's most unique doctrine of the nature of the Divine names may have at least in part been influenced byEnochozad but that whole question remains to be answered further in investigation.
