Was It a Hobby or a Job?

I was in I was in like the middle of high school or whatever you know 10th grade, 11th grade working on all this stuff. Was it a hobby or was it one of these things where you thought this is absolutely what I want to do with my life? It definitely dates me a bit because we're almost exactly the same age and that's why I'm going oh wow this is a very precocious teenager by the sound of it.
