The Barriers to Transplantation for Dialysis
The barriers to get patiencs with low social economic status on to a transpant list is just, its immense. I think it is important to note that there was a recent change to the the kind of weight lest protocols, where your starts at the time of dialsis. So that does kind of help some patients. Obviously, it's not ideal. But if you do have those patients that are not presenting to the kidney transmo clinic and they've been on dialsis for several years at least, they can accrue some inut some and that's gting huge.
