The Repugnant Conclusion
If I said an arbitrary standard, say the greatest good for the greatest number for this class of humans or something, then I can say we've made moral progress. Well, and then you could say, well, if it's arbitrary, why should one follow it? Or you could say this is the correct standard. So that's called the repugnant conclusion.
