Is the Black Dot Positive or Negative?

The same allen watson one of his lectures was talking about uh the the yin and the yang concept. He said okay here's a way to look at this he says if i have a white piece of paper and i put a black dot on it is the black dot positive or negative. It doesn't really matter whether you assign positive or negative what's really important is that there is a polarity differential which is what allows currency  and in like you said without without spirit there's no soul without soul no spirit so yeah so far I've had some interesting experiences with people who think they're different but are actually more alike than not.
