How to Merge Interests and Match That Up

I actually double majored in college in exercise science and sociology. So that's super into doing exercise science research, did a little bit of sociology stuff. And then for the year after college, I worked in a lab that focused on the physiology of firefighting. We were basically giving them heart rate monitors and trying to see if they could use that information to keep their guys safer. That's how I kind of stumbled across health informatics.
