The left side of the chart is where it's easiest for the composite operator types to build their position. Because there's so much fear associated with the volatility and the steep declines, they can buy stock on a scale down towards support or lots of stock. On the rightside of the chart where you have a series of higher lows and diminishing volatility, they're having a very difficult time buying the amount of stock that they want to buy.
