The Spiral Staircase
I love all of those moments, you know, when we descend those stairs and go down into the depths of the house. The imagery of the spiral staircase also feeds back into that sort of German expressionist aesthetic as well. It's really teasing out these sort of other ideas or these other aesthetic concepts and themes. I mean, it's a classic Gothic horror film. Aside from everything else that it is,you know, it's very classically Gothic.
