How to Have Conversations With Your Friends and Family
I'm often asked what ad ice i have for people who struggle to talk about sensitive political issues with people in their circle. And i guess i have a few kinds of advice. One is to know when to not talk about it. Is it the best i to talk about politics when everyone in your family is drunk and people seem a little bit on edge to begin with? Maybe not. There is wisdom in picking your battles, especially in picking your timing. At the same time, these conversations need to happen. If you can't have the conversations with your friends and family, then we are doomed as a country.
