The Importance of Interconnectedness in Chinese Philosophy

When I was doing my masters at Taida, I didn't have any previous formal training in Chinese philosophy. This proved to be a wonderful advantage because I wasn't tied up to any traditional readings of the texts. So it allows a very deal of freedom and even a sort of promiscuity in working with lots of different texts without committing to any preconceptions about them. As long as we are aware that these methods are straight about what we are doing, there is nothing wrong with either approach.
