The Past Tense and the Present Tense
Dan Bellum: Christ is speaking in the past tense in verse 18 up to this point. And then you get this dash, and I don't know what the dash represents. But was there a bit of a pause in Christ's narration of this? He says he can see Christ telling Joseph narrating to him about his atonement. Bellum: This switch to this present tense reveals how traumatic this event was for Christ.
