How I Learned to Play Bass Guitar
I'm glad I played it because it was good for technique. The practice is on upright and horrible, but the ones on bass guitar are fun. Ron Carter took a lesson from me at his house; he said, man, this was not good. But I wanted to have the opportunity of hanging out with Ron Carter and taking a lesson, even if it was horrible. You've made albums consistently since your first album in 1971.
