The Supreme Court's Decision to Discriminate Against Black Students

The Supreme Court ruled that Harvard and University of North Carolina's Race-based admissions policies violated the 14th Amendment. The decision is out of the mainstream of contemporary jurisprudence, according to former Yale student John Avlon. He says he was enraged when his friend Robert Kennedy sent him a letter telling him not to let poor kids in because they were going to discriminate against them.Avlon: If you're a working class kid there are no more ways for you to get into Ivy League schools like need blind admissions or financial aid. You can't buy your way in through fake scholarships but if you have money it doesn't matter as long as you don't know how to do it.
