Endometrial Hyperplasia

Endometrial hyperplasia occurs in the presence of unopposed estrogen on the endometrial lining. It can be treated with progesterone therapy or progesterone intrauterine devices, IUDs. The higher BMI is a risk factor for endo-meachal hyperplasia as well because it's the excess adipose tissue in our bodies. And if your treatment is going to involve a progesterone already, you're sort of covering your bases by not doing a biopsy.
