Is Jesus Christ in You?
Paul is not spoiling for a fight with the Corinthians, or looking for an opportunity to flex his apostolic authority. As a good father, he does not rejoice in bringing punishment and rebuke. He is entirely uninvested in proving himself tough when it is not in service of building up his children. What he is praying for is their restoration.
