The Importance of Retired Vehicles Off the Road
The transportation sector is the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States, slightly larger than the electric power sector. There's an incentive to retire vehicles off the road that are older and higher emitting a get lower mileage. At some point within the next decade, they're just going to become cheaper altogether. And so when that happens, I think you may see a huge influx of used internal combustion engine vehicles on our roads.
