The Endurance, a New Scientific Service
The Endurance sank three thousand meters to the bottom of the antarctic sea and into another world. The ship was built for wealthy tourists hunting powder bears in the arctic, pressed into this new scientific service. As 28 men watching endurance sink in 19 might have agreed, they set out on their own with little hope. They were besieged by frost bite attacks, mental breakdowns and a lack of food. It is a tale of survival that has never been told before or since.
