PTSD

The debate is very much about how inner experience can be conveyed in language. We all have this completely unique experience and then we're trying to find ways to talk about it in a general language. The original word comes from the ancient Greek and it means physical wounds, a physical injury, but also a sense of kind of hurt or defeat. And so PTSD is really a misleading term. So we need to open that up and go with the way that people are working with it in their everyday lives and learn from that and engage in that.
