The Key Component of Jadan Is Diversity

In nature, the brushand leaves and all the other stuff that comes down youonow whether it sticks or whatever it might be are considered problems on our farm. Instead, in like jadam, or in nature, the ideas that all those things, not just the leaves, but everything, are future nutrients. So for example, when your leaves and needles fall in the autumn and then slowly decay over the winter months they add nutrients back to the soil. It's this self regulation through diversity that's really the key component of jadan - allowing us to think about the reintroduction of nutrients as a natural process.
