I wonder if it's possible to get to some first principles deep understanding of how life originates in such a way that you can actually construct it on other planets. I, ultimately it feels like if you're doing it in a lab on earth, you're always going to be using some aspect of the life that's already here. And everyone should go watch the TED Talks very good. The annoying thing to me about TED Talks, I guess that's by design is they're too short.
