Anatolian Is the Out Group of Indo-European Languages
Anatolian languages are clearly out groups compared to all the other Indo-European languages. And they think that it's spread westward into Anatolia, into central and Western Anatolia. Then it's spread northward 5,000 years ago into the Pontic step. That's why the step ancestry is all over the place. Whereas in Anatolia there's no step ancestry because these Indo-Europeans did not go via the step.
