The Importance of Physics in Trading
My last job was for a Sydney prop trading firm. I don't think that physics directly impacts trading because whilst the laws of nature are kind of immutable the laws of the market are very mutable and they change a lot. There are a lot of numerical skills,. IT skills and also reading data, understanding data has really helped me to develop my own models quite to a great extent. Without my training I would have been able to do that quite the same way.
