The Local Democracy Reporting Service
The local democracy reporting service was set up with a very narrow remit. The idea is they report on things that the local newspaper industry said was often uneconomic to do. Bristolhas actually got a really buoyant medio sceneand below the surface in print are still these hyper local publications. They're not going to be able to have a seat in the mayor's briefing. So that's why the present eldas is so important. It's about establishing good tions and then keeping them there. And what happens when somebody tries to duck an issue, particularly somebody you know who's in a publicly funded role? I think it all comes down to the key thing, which is reputation.
