A critical part of Diary Studies is reminding your respondents to actually submit their entries. We reached out to them on Instagram to make sure that they were capturing their feedback if we hadn't seen a story from them in the past couple days. The communication via Instagram was pretty interesting, just from breaking down the barriers between researchers and participants.
