The Importance of Condors in the Tribes of the Uracs

Uroc tribe have not had condors in their territory for more than a century. They believe that the birds are of great spiritual worth and contribute to renewal ceremonies. A decision was made last year to re-introduce california condor back into Uroc ancestral territory. The tribal government worked within the system to try to garner interest from the us Fishiand wild life service. After six years, an environmental assessment has found 'no significant impact' on environment. Hhum: "We underwent quite a bit of damage after american conquest"
