High Noon: A Medieval Western

High Noon, I think of is one of maybe two or three sort of archetype Westerns. And it's not an action movie. It's a small town. The sheriff realizes there's going to be trouble just trying to get up a posse to keep this guy out of town. But no one wants to help him sort of. "I just have to go fight this guy to protect the town"
