The Importance of Satiric News
I've always found to talk about the satirical news angle. I guess in America it didn't start with John Stewart but he kind of perfected the art during the early 2000s. With a guy like John Stewart who was able to use all the signifiers and constructs of a new show and then deliver a satirical message, I just think that's a fascinating emergence. Tell people why that works, why it's so important because I think that's really something that folks have not fully internalized yet.
