The Structure of the Earth's Innermost Core
A group of scientists in Australia were trying to understand the structure of the Earth's innermost inner core, the very heart of this planet. They used seismic measuring stations on opposite sides of the planet so they could detect those seismic waves as they passed through the centre and out the other side. And it showed that or what they think it's showing is that the inner core of the Earth has two parts: an innermost innerCore and then a outer shell. It takes about 20 minutes for a wave to ping pong from one side of the Earth to the other. Do we have a recording of that sound? Can we hear it? No, well, no,. I reckon super low.
