The Book of Mormon Characters and Reformed Egyptian
There's no evidence that reformed Egyptian was ever-language. I personally believe that Joseph Smith created this because he knew there was no one else who could translate it. And as we've talked about in our previous episodes, people were really fascinated by Egyptian relics at the time. The math just simply doesn't add up. So if we have to give Joseph Smith a grade for the Book of Mormon characters for our first grade for today, Mike, what are you giving him on this one?
