How Can You Even Be a History Professor in India Without Knowing Sanscrit?

I simply don't understand what is wrong with the contemporary indian historians. And like you mentioned, none o, most of them, don't even know sanscrit. How can you even be a historian in india without knowing sanscrit? Why don't we have the standards? Yes, there is.
